June 22, 2009:
At 12:45 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a two-vehicle traffic crash in the 500 block of W. Washington Street involving a 2000 Honda Accord driven by Michelle L. Gahan, age 38, of Steward, IL, and a 2005 Toyota Matrix being driven by Susan B. Murges, age 64, Ashton. No citations were issued.
June 24, 2009:
At 8:15 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a one-vehicle traffic crash in the parking lot of McDonald’s restaurant involving a 1995 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Carl D. Weber, age 75, Polo, where Weber’s vehicle struck the fence along the east side of the McDonald’s parking lot, which then part of the fence struck a garage belonging to Carl E. Morris of Oregon. No citations were issued. At 3:35 p.m., Oregon Police issued Kristen A. Prevenas, age 29, Oregon, a citation for speeding, 50mph in a 30mph zone. This violation occurred in the 100 block of N. Daysville Road. At 5:08 p.m., Oregon Police investigated a hit and run that occurred in the 100 block of S. 3rd Street involving a parked 2001 Dodge Intrepid belonging to Janet S. Andrist of Rochelle, IL. If anyone has any information regarding this incident, please contact the Oregon Police Dept. at 815-732-2162.
June 25, 2009:
At 5:45 p.m., Oregon Police issued Adrianne M. Stodgel, age 19, of Galesburg, IL, a citation for speeding, 47mph in a 30mph zone. A passenger in Stodgel’s vehicle, Joshua S. Rogers, age 19, Dixon, was arrested on an outstanding Lee County warrant for driving while suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Rogers was transported to the Ogle County jail. These violations occurred in the 100 block of N. Daysville Road.
June 26, 2009:
At 4:45 p.m., Oregon Police responded to Nash Rec Center to investigate a theft of a bicycle resulting in taking one 14-year-old male juvenile of Oregon into limited custody for the offense of theft less than $300. The juvenile was released into a guardian’s custody with a juvenile contact sheet filled out referring the juvenile to the State’s Attorney’s Office for a petition for juvenile delinquency. At 9:10 p.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance at Oregon Park West which resulted in taking one 12-year-old male juvenile into limited custody for the offenses of criminal damage to property and battery. The juvenile was transported to the Ogle County jail where he was released into his parent’s custody with a juvenile contact sheet filled out referring the juvenile to the State’s Attorney’s Office for a petition for juvenile delinquency.
June 27, 2009:
At 1:34 a.m., Oregon Police responded to a disturbance at 203 N. 7th Street resulting in the arrest of Allen W. Clement, age 29, Oregon, for battery and possession of cannabis less than 30 grams. Clement was transported to the Ogle County jail.
